Sophomore Heidi LaBree drives on Melstone's Draya Wacker during the Lady Bulldogs' loss to the Lady Broncs at home.
The Lady Bulldogs got off to a bad start against a tough conference opponent in the Melstone Lady Broncs last Thursday at home. Blue went down 3-22 at the end of the first quarter and eventually lost by 20. A large part of the early deficit was due to the majority of their 16 turnovers coming early. The girls shot 8 of 10 (80 percent) from the free throw line.
Heidi LaBree had 10 points for CCHS. Draya Wacker had a game-high 28 points for Melstone.
