Local chapter celebrates National FFA week

Starting in 1948, the National FFA Board of Directors designed a week long tradition to recognize George Washington’s example and legacy as a leader and farmer. National FFA week gives every FFA member in every chapter the opportunity to join voices in raising awareness and advocating for agriculture in communities across the country. This year, National FFA Week is February 20-27.

Agriculture education and FFA ensure a steady supply of young professionals to meet the growing needs in the science, business and technology of agriculture.

FFA promotes premier leadership, personal growth and career success among its members. It promotes citizenship, volunteerism, patriotism and cooperation.
