Above, Doug Stieg enjoys a moment with his aunt, Jean McCumsey. Ninety-one-year-old McCumsey (Avis Stieg's sister) made the quilt that was hanging during the celebration. She made the trip from Washington with planning from Justin Stieg and Jennifer Waterland who were able to keep her attendance a secret from their parents, Doug and Sandy Stieg.
Around three hundred people attended A&A Stieg Wholesale's 50th Anniversary celebration at their shop on June 25 in Ekalaka. Attendees enjoyed a meal catered by Wagon Wheel Café, prizes and live music from Wilder Butte Band. Three lucky individuals won gift certificates to A&A: Doug Marston won a $100 gift certificate, Ernie Melum won a $75 gift certificate and Alice Ward won a $50 gift certificate.
