Unique creations

A fun day of making gourd baskets and decorative gourd bird houses was held at the home of Sue Schneider over the weekend. Schneider's sister-in-law, Lynn Wallace visiting from Wisconsin, taught the class. Jenny and Lily Schallenberger, Karen Hammel, Patricia Kalstrom and Charlotte Kalstrom participated. The gourd baskets were dyed with inks and woven with pine needles.
