Pioneer upgrades press plate technology

This week's Eagle is first printed with upgrade

Editor's note: The Ekalaka Eagle has been printed at the Black Hills Pioneer in Spearfish, South Dakota since May, 2023. Late last week, the Pioneer started using upgraded plate technology. This issue of the Eagle is the first printed using the new technology.

Innovation and embracing technology is always at the forefront of the Black Hills Pioneer's mission to serve their community.

The January 25th Black Hills Pioneer was printed using upgraded plate technology to make the paper, and the rest of the products they produce, faster, crisper, and more efficient.
