'Dogs play close contests

The Bulldogs have made a habit recently of playing in tight contests. On January 26th they lost to Broadus by 2 points. Since then, they have a win-loss record of 1-2 with a point differential of -3. In their last four games, they have scored 214 points and allowed 219. Hopefully, all of that close game experience will come in handy when the District 4C tournament begins in Miles City next week.

Blue was seeking revenge when the played the Hawks in Broadus on January 30th; only four nights after their two-point loss to them at home. The second matchup of the season was even more exciting than the first. It ended with a Bulldog overtime loss, 55-56. A big difference in the final outcome was the fact that Broadus got to the charity stripe 27 times, making 16 of those attempts; CCHS went 4 of 5 at the line (all of those attempts were by Wyatt Melton). Bulldog Wyatt Melton led all scorers with 20 points; Jace Pardee added 11 for CCHS.
