    On May 6 and 7, the Carter County FFA Chapter traveled to Great Falls to compete in the Montana CDE Days competition held at the MSU Great Falls campus. Members had a whirlwind of two days jam-packed with competitions and late nights.     On April 3-6, the CCHS FFA chapter spent the weekend in beautiful Bozeman for the 2019 Montana State FFA Convention. Members competed in several CDEs (Career Development Events) including Agronomy, Livestock Judging, Farm Business Management and Ag Mechanics.     On February 18 and 19, ten members of the Carter County FFA chapter traveled to Broadus to compete in the Eastern FFA District competition.     The Carter County FFA Chapter is gearing up for another exciting year. Two members of our chapter attended the Alumni Leadership Camp in Highwood this year, Gracie Tooke and Jasmine Erickson. They have brought home valuable leadership skills and connections.     On April 30 and 31, the Carter County FFA Chapter made the trek to Big Timber, Montana to compete in the annual CDE Days competition. Kenzie Tooke, Heather LaBree, Hannah LaBree and Darin Schallenberger competed in the Food Science, Vet Science and Job Interview CDE’s. In Food Science, Heather placed 20th, Hannah placed 68th, Darin placed 70th and Kenzie rounded off the team with 75th place.     On September 26th, the local FFA chapter attended Fall Districts in Forsyth, Montana. Five members attended: Kyleigh Bonsell, Heather & Hannah LaBree, Jaelee Strangford, and Jasmine Erickson.     The 2017-2018 CCHS officer team is gearing up for another exciting year. On August 1, 2017, six members of the team traveled with Mr. Whitney for their annual officer retreat in Rapid City, SD.
