  • Commerce department awards $1 million to Montana tourism and recreation assets

    On Monday, The Montana Department of Commerce announced more than $1 million in grant funding was awarded through its Tourism Grant Program to strengthen local economies in twenty-one communities.     CCHS basketball teams traveled to Wibaux on December 21st to take on the Longhorns. The JV boys won by three points in an overtime thriller as nine Bulldogs scored in the contest. Two players, Jace Pardee and Chace Loehding, finished the game with double-digit points. Blue went 9 of 19 at the free throw line.     The Lady Bulldogs picked up a pair of conference wins before going on Christmas break. On December 21 in Wibaux, the Lady 'Dogs downed the Lady Longhorns, 56-33. As a team, CCHS shot 32 percent on two-point field goals and 29 percent from deep. They went 6 of 10 from the free throw line. Wibaux, meanwhile, went 6 of 21 from the line.   • Gianforte reaffirms Montana law banning discrimination based on vaccination status

    Governor Greg Gianforte recently provided guidance to Montana employers and employees impacted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rule mandating vaccines for employers with 100 or more employees nationwide. “Montana law is unequivocal: employers are prohibited from discriminating based on vaccination status,” Gov.
