    According to the National Weather Service, the average temperature in Ekalaka for December of 2020 was 30 degrees. The mark is tied with December of 1999 for the fifth warmest average temperature ever recorded for the month. The warmest average December temperature in Ekalaka occurred in 1957 when it was 32.6 degrees. 1957, 1939 and 1979 are the only other years where the average December temperature in Ekalaka was warmer than it was 2020.
