Celebrate spring with some serious silliness at the Ekalaka Bible Church on Saturday, March 23rd, from 3 to 5 p.m. Children in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to welcome spring and celebrate Easter. Local veteran Rich Burch lost his home located on Senator St. in Ekalaka to fire on February 21st. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault. Burch was not home at the time of the fire. Ekalaka Volunteer Fire Department was on scene. The home is still standing, but due to extensive damage it is not yet known whether or not the structure can/will be saved.
