The Bulldogs played the Panthers on a humid football evening in Park City last Friday. After JV and varsity losses in Terry last Thursday night, the Lady ‘Dogs varsity volleyball team finished second at an all-day tournament on Saturday. Against Terry, it was a similar theme for both teams as they won the first set of their matches and then lost the next three consecutive sets. The JV squad won the first 25-12. Eight CCHS student-athletes traveled to Laurel for the MHSA Class A-C State Track & Field meet last weekend. The CCHS Lady Bulldogs' season ended with a pair of losses at the Montana Class C State Tournament in Billings last week. It might not have been the successful end to the season they had hoped for, but the season was still a success as CCHS finished with a 20-5 overall record. Last year, the Lady Bulldogs defeated the Jordan Lady Mustangs twice during the regular season, lost to them at the District 4C Tournament by two points in overtime, and then won a challenge game against them in the Southern C Divisional to advance to state.
