    After falling victim to coronavirus last year, Carter County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Community Wide Garage Sale is back on for 2021. The event will take place on the first Saturday in June, which will be June 5th.     Carter County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Independence Day fireworks display is a go this year. Volunteer fire department members will be lighting off the display from the track and arena after dusk on July 4. In an effort to make donating easier, an account has been set up at Community 1st Federal Credit Union for monetary contributions to this year’s display.     Visit Southeast Montana welcomed three new members to the Board of Directors during its April 29 board meeting. Eva Grimes of Carter County, Jamie Redger of Big Horn County and Kathy McLane of Dawson County were voted in unanimously. Grimes was born and raised in Carter County. After spending time out of state, she returned to Ekalaka and began working for local businesses. In 2016, she and her mother opened Stompin' Grounds Coffee House which she continues to help run today....
